Mindfulness Programs

At Ser Integral: Portuguese Center for Mindfulness we offer several mindfulness programs. All programs are presented in Portuguese.
1. INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS
This is a 4-week introductory mindfulness course developed by Dr. Carla Martins and presented in online and inperson formats.
2. MBSR
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR) was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness (CFM), University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMass) almost 40 years ago. At Ser Integral: Portuguese Center for Mindfulness, the MBSR is presented in online (videoconferencing) and in-person formats and takes place over the course of 8 weeks with 8 sessions of 2,5h/3hrs and an intensive session of 6 hours.
3. MINDFULNESS MONTHLY SESSIONS
Available for adults, teens and children but only suitable for those with an already established practice and/or who have completed a mindfulness-based program.
4. MINDFUL LIVING DAY SESSIONS
A day of intensive practice to foment silence, stillness and calm within a mindfulness context. This sessions are also available for individuals who have completed a mindfulness-based program or have an already established daily practice.
5. SCHOOLS
We offer mindfulness programs and introductory sessions in schools for children, adolescents and teachers in the classroom setting.
6. CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
At the center we offer 8 week program courses for children and adolescents in an environment that will allow them to cultivate mindfulness into their daily lives.
7. PARENTS
We offer sessions and programs tailored to parents presenting materials to guide them into integrating mindful and conscious parenting tools into their lives.
